Al-Rozna is an online language learning programme interested in teaching Arabic language skills to non-Arabic speakers. It focuses at most on the listening skills, but sheds some light on speaking, reading and writing for the advanced primary level. Before using the programme, the teacher will carry out a 40-minute test to evaluate the learners, and another test after using the prorgamme.
The program contains (7) basic lessons, starting with the letter "ا" " alif' and ending with the letter "خ" "Khā". Each lesson consists of the following:

Each of the letters deals with a specific topic, as follows:
a) Letters "ا" " alif' and "ب" "bā̛" in greeting and ways to get to know others.
b) Letter "ت" "tā̛" in numbers.
c) Letter "ث" "thā̛" in times and seasons.
d) Letter "ج" "jim" for vocabulary used in a classroom.
e) Letter "ح" "hā̛" for street vocabulary.
f) Letter "khā̛" "خ" for family members.

a) To familiarize learners with Arabic letters: identifying and pronouncing them.
b) To help learners identify the location of the letter in a word; Initial, medial and final.
c) To acquaint learners with the common Arabic diacritics: short and long vowel marks, sukun and shaddah
d) To help learners distinguish between short and long vowel marks in a word.
e) To help learners recognize simple vocabulary and compositions.
